When To Use
OPTASE® Heat Mask Pro provides effective relief from symptoms of Dry Eye, Blepharitis, and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, chalazion, and styes.
The heat therapy provided by this mask helps to loosen the oils in the meibomian glands and improves it’s quality. These oils are needed for a better tear film stability and reduced tear evaporation.
Tear film evaporation is one of the main contributing factors to Dry Eye Disease which can result in painful symptoms and irritation.

Cold Therapy
The OPTASE® Heat Mask Pro can also be used for cold therapy to help reduce symptoms of eye allergies and puffy eyes.
How to Apply the OPTASE® Heat Mask Pro for Heat
Prior to use, remove any makeup, false eyelashes, and contact lenses. Lay the mask flat on a clean, microwave-safe plate, ensuring it does not contact any metal surfaces. Ensure that the microwave is clean, dry, and free from grease and residue.
- Heat only with a microwave following the recommended heating times:
- Test the mask temperature with your wrist before using on closed eyes. If too hot, let the mask cool for 1 minute and retest.
- Place the mask over closed eyes for 10 minutes. Adjust the strap as needed to ensure comfort.
Storage:
Keep the mask in the storage bag provided. Store in a clean, dry place.
How to Apply the OPTASE® Heat Mask Pro for Cold Therapy
- Place the mask in a sealable plastic bag.
- Place bag in freezer for 30 minutes.
- Remove mask from freezer and place it over closed eyes.
- Wear mask for 5-7 minutes of treatment.
